The National Bureau of Statistics is seeking to recruit a person to fill in the following position:
Systems Support Manager
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Overall management of the system support activities
- Maintenance and recording of all IT equipment
- Ensure the security of equipment, programs, data, backups and other computer related accessories
- Ensure adequate facilities exist to provide a reliable and efficient back-up service for the Bureau’s system
- Monitor the security system in place
- Develop and maintain the Bureau’s official website
Salary:
The salary entry point is set at SB6 – SB7 plus relevant allowances.
Entry requirements:

- First degree in a Computer Science related field plus three years relevant and satisfactory experience
or
- HND in a Computer Science related field plus at least four years relevant and satisfactory experience
or
- Relevant Diploma or Equivalent Industry Recognized Certification as established by the Seychelles Qualifications Authority plus at least three years relevant and satisfactory experience
or
- Three years’ experience as a Senior Systems Support Officer
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in English
- High motivation and innovative skills
